Our partners contribute to SOCACT’s overall mission and vision our joint efforts, we collaborate to make transformational and generational change for our communities.
It is only through the assistance of our community partners that we are able to become the bridge between ideas and actions.
Artist-Run Cafe
They serve delicious food and drink inside of Langlab while directly supporting local artists. They are open Wednesdays- Saturdays 11AM-6PM. They got a hotline, folx! Talk 2 artists!
Homegrown Hype
Homegrown Hype LLC is a remarkable artist collective that produces engaging events, stylish gear for creative folks, as well as trading and collector cards to honor all the worth artists in our community.

Founded in March of 2000 on 4.3 acres of land, Sacred Waters provides a place where people can go to share their knowledge and experiences as they travel on their spiritual journeys to God.

Moms Demand Action (IN Chapter)
Moms Demand Action is a grassroots movement of Americans fighting for public safety measures that can protect people from gun violence. They help pass stronger gun laws and work to close the loopholes that jeopardize the safety of our families. They also work in their own communities and with business leaders to encourage a culture of responsible gun ownership.

Gentleman and Scholars, Inc. is a nonprofit organization with 501C3 status that serves the communities of St. Joseph County and the greater Michiana region. The organizational purpose of Gentlemen and Scholars is to provide an alternative to the mainstream stereotypical path for the youth.
Indiana University South Bend, Psychology Department
Psychology is the scientific study of how humans and animals adapt their behavior to the physical and social environments in which they live. Professionals within the discipline are active in a wide variety of interesting and useful roles.

The parishioners of Saint Hedwig seek to continue the presence of Jesus Christ in the community, as they have since 1877. As part of the National West Washington Historic District and across the street from historic Saint Patrick Church, they encourage an awareness of history among our younger generations.

Born from the efforts of Indiana University South Bend students and professors, the Civil Rights Heritage Center transformed a once-segregated city swimming pool into an active learning center. It explores the civil rights struggles of the past so people can take action in the present and build a better future.

SOCACT partner since 1996. Jake Webster hosted international visitors from South Africa (2001) and from Haiti (2003, 2016). In addition, he emceed for our 20th Anniversary Poetry Jam (2017).
